WHO WE ARE

As a tapestry is made of threads of many colors and textures, your brain is made up of thousands of neural connections. These connections are formed by both the beautiful and harmful experiences you have had. In the mental health field, “integration” is the term that is often used to describe brain health. Integration simply refers to the degree to which your neural networks are connected throughout your brain. As a tapestry can become frayed or torn, when we experience harm, our neural connections can become disconnected. However, when we experience brain healing, our neural networks become re-connected with one another.

At Tapestry of Hope, we believe that dark threads of trauma can become a backdrop for bright victories. Torn relationships can be re-woven into strong fabrics. In the Bible, we find the word “Shalom” to describe this: the mending together of what was previously broken. Our mission is to join you in your journey of becoming re-woven, well-integrated, and finding Shalom.
